Oregon Wine Country Tours of Umpqua Valley

Our Umpqua Valley Wine Tours are based in the town of Roseburg, Oregon (Douglas County) which is in the oldest wine producing region of Oregon, the UMPQUA VALLEY AVA. We have put together a wine tasting tour that offers wine lovers or novices a very memorable viticultural experience here in Oregon Wine Country. Our scheduled tours will leave from the SleepInn Motel (Exit 127) parking lot located at 2855 Edenbower Blvd: next to Applebee's. Or we will be glad to pick you up at your Roseburg hotel or home for a carefree tasting experience. There is an additional charge of $10 PP for pick-ups outside the Roseburg area.

As a client of Oregon Wine Country Tours, you will benefit from our eye for detail. Each of our FOUR winery visits are designed to be informative and entertaining, covering all levels of the wine tasting experience from the novice to the enthusiast. With our custom wine SURVEY we tailor each tour to the preferences of that group. You will experience the very best the Umpqua Valley has to offer.

"EACH TOUR IS CUSTOMIZED; NO "PUMP 'EM OUT TOURS"! You do not have to have a group to sign up. Individuals and couples welcome. We attempt to fill tours to our standard maximum of eight tasters. (Call on groups).

No limos or crowded buses on our tours! You will enjoy the comfort of a touring van limited to 8 clients. (Call on groups). This size allows us to provide a more personal, informative tour and be available to answer all your questions. By keeping our tours small and more intimate, tours can be customized to the individual or group preferences. A Gourmet Lunch will be served at one of the wineries. Great food and great views.

We especially encourage the novice taster to take our tours. Touring with Oregon Wine Country Tours will not only be an enjoyable, memorable experience, but you will leave the tour with a better understanding and appreciation of the different wines of the area as well as the knowledge of proper wine tasting etiquette! We delight in providing the "basics" of wine tasting and our passion is helping others to truly experience the beauty of Oregon's Oldest Wine Country! Cheers!

Just coming from 2 days in Paso Robles and 3 days in the Napa Valley we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the tour and the wineries selected for this tour. Unlike the limo tours that simply get you to the wineries, we are wine enthusiasts that offer valuable tips on wine tasting, as well as, the history of Umpqua Valley wine. We accompany you inside the winery where we introduce you to our wine maker friends. Our mission is to support the local wineries in any way we can, unlike other tour companies that actually charge the wineries for coming by!

Our only business are wine tours, we don't do proms or weddings. However, we did do a great bachorolette party!
